We had a great time together, didn't we, my love?
You used to love me immeasurably and showed it in thousands of ways. You would kiss me and stroke me in a manner I adored. You would smile at me so that my whole being trembled with happiness. You would look at me and I drowned into the sweet blue sea of your eyes.
I loved it when you would creep behind me to blindfold me with your gentle hands. And do you remember that special way of expressing your love for me, only between the two of us? That secret greeting when you would kiss my fingertips and press them to my chest so that I keep your kiss during the day?
Your laughter sounded like angelic music to me. And how you would sing to me! Your song told me everything I needed to know:

To chase away your dreadful fright

And I was floating. My heart had wings and I could feel the tremor caused by its efforts to fly from my chest. You're my whole world.
You complete me.
You would always bring me joy and I greedily tasted you with all my senses. Your rich scent of honey and exotic spices pierced my being with sweetness.
Your voice, so soft and tender, stroked my ears like velvet.
Your face was more then handsome to me. It was beautiful. Each curve was perfect. Like a Greek statue you looked to me and I often felt the impulse to put flowers at your feet with awe and adoration.
Your gentle touch would sometimes ignite my skin as if I was on fire. And sometimes the warmth of your body would lull me to sleep like the most wonderful lullaby.
The taste of you was more delicious than any food. I felt like heavens when I would surrender my mouth to you.
Your arms wrapped around me were like a fortress. Nothing could harm me when I was deep in your embrace. I knew you’d never let me go, I knew you’d never leave me. You’d stay by my side to keep me safe no matter what behold us.

You are here. I can see your shadow. I can see your eyes. You must stay. Please stay with me, my love.
You smile at me. Your smile is so beautiful. Your touch is so light and gentle.
“You look like a goddess tonight, lovely one,” you whisper to me.
